Every morning, we wake up early to prepare our handcrafted chai blend from scratch at each farmers market and event. Our ritual begins with carefully muddling ten different ingredients using a traditional molcajete while water and milk heat up gently.

We then add the spices and simmer until the liquid boils, extracting the rich flavors and properties of each ingredient. This is where the magic happens – the intoxicating aromas of cinnamon, cloves, green cardamom, and ginger fill the air.

Black Assam tea adds its depth and complexity to the mix for five minutes before we carefully strain the ingredients through a cheesecloth. The final step is to sweeten with unrefined sugars and serve our freshly brewed chai, ready to warm your soul.

Masala chai mix

Chai is a regular black tea with milk and sugar. Masala chai has a blend of two or more spices depending on the county or region where is made. Ricky and I have been chai lovers for a long time, we kept visiting different coffee shops to find the best cup of masala tea, but we were often disappointed when there was just a sugary concentrate or powder. This is how we decided to create the best recipe at home, and after many attempts we came up with this amazing natural mix of black indian tea and seven spices with no additives. You can add sugar to your taste.

We are developing unique products for our chai shop by repurposing the leftover spices after the brewing process. We have chai candles, lip balms, and we are working on the chai soaps. All of these products are handcrafted with natural ingredients.
